ViOL has officially launched its new HIFU product, DUOTITE, in Japan

ViOL has officially launched its new HIFU product, DUOTITE, in Japan,

marking the beginning of its strategy to target the Japanese HIFU market

On November 24, ViOL successfully held the official launch event for its ultrasound-based HIFU product, DUOTITE, at the ANA InterContinental Hotel in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan. This event marked the first official introduction of DUOTITE in the Japanese market, following its preview at KIMES 2024 in Korea this past March. Around 100 medical professionals and industry experts from Japan attended the event, expressing strong interest in the new product.

DUOTITE is a non-invasive treatment device that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to simultaneously target the SMAS and dermal layers, creating thermal coagulation points. Unlike traditional HIFU devices, DUOTITE delivers ultrasound to both layers of the skin in a single shot, significantly reducing treatment time and maximizing treatment efficiency. Additionally, it allows for depth adjustments without changing cartridges, greatly improving convenience for practitioners. This differentiated feature is expected to respond positively in the Japanese HIFU market.

At the event, Dr. Kenjiro Takei, a renowned dermatologist in Japan with over 50,000 social media followers, lectured on DUOTITE and presented the results of a two-month clinical trial. Dr. Takei emphasized the immediate effectiveness and reliability of DUOTITE, leaving a strong impression on the attendees.

In addition to DUOTITE, lectures on various ViOL devices followed. The prominent Japanese dermatologist Dr. Nakano led a session on Sylfirm X and its effects on melasma, redness, and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Ko, Dr. Ito, Dr. Sugawara, and Professor Hee Young Kang from Ajou University also presented. Additionally, Dr. Jonghoon Park, the director of Own Clinic, lectured on improving skin elasticity with Cellinew, reiterating its treatment methods and effectiveness.

"We have successfully launched DUOTITE in the Japanese market," said the representative from ViOL. "Through this event, we confirmed the high interest in our technology and products in Japan. Moving forward, we plan to implement more aggressive marketing and localization strategies to expand our sales in Japan."

ViOL currently exports its flagship product, Sylfirm X, devices and consumables to over 85 countries, achieving steady sales growth in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. This year, the company expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the monopolar RF device Cellinew and is further strengthening its global competitiveness through the Japanese launch of DUOTITE.
