Viol Co., Ltd. said it achieved 18.37 billion won in sales and 5.41 billion won in operating profit on the consolidated operating performance results in 2021. Compared to the previous year's performance, sales increased 51.1% and operating profit increased 58.4%, the largest performance since its foundation.

Sales and operating profit grew significantly in 2021 as a result of overseas market development, especially thanks to a sharp increase in sales of the company's major products, Seal Firm X and Scarlett, in the U.S. market, the largest market for beauty medical devices.

A company official explained, "Dr. Ra Jong-joo, a former doctor and CTO who developed a skin beauty medical device using RF, held seminars for dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the United States to teach Korea's advanced skin treatment techniques." It is also believed that famous American doctors such as Diana Duncan and JD Meckoy, who are known worldwide, started using the company's products, which had a positive impact on other fellow doctors to purchase the treatment effect with confidence.

Meanwhile, based on its success in the U.S., Viol entered the Mexican market late last year in partnership with a large distributor in Mexico's medical care business. Famous actors and celebrity celebrities invited to the Scarlet launching event in Mexico City last month received procedures themselves and shared their experiences with millions of followers through SNS. In addition, Vogue, a fashion magazine, wanted to interview Dr. Ra Jong-joo, showing great interest in the entry of Viol products into Mexico, which are already successful in the United States.

In 2022, Viol plans to expand its entry into major skin beauty markets in the U.S. and Latin America through local partners to continue to increase sales.
