Global Beauty Trends and the Fusion of K-Beauty: ViOL Hosts the 3rd Sylfirm X Symposium

On Sunday, September 29, 2024, ViOL hosted the 3rd Global Symposium, Sylfirm X MASTERCLASS, under "Unveiling the Innovation behind K-Beauty" at the Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery. This symposium, now in its third year since its launch in 2022, was attended by around 60 participants from five countries, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Indonesia, and Myanmar, achieving great success. The event was conceptualized using Miindo, a famous Joseon Dynasty painter Yun-bok Shin's artwork, to promote Korean beauty and ViOL's innovative technology. The event further emphasized Korean beauty by featuring presenters in traditional hanbok and including traditional Korean dance performances.

In its opening remarks, ViOL CEO Sangjin Lee expressed his gratitude to the attendees who traveled from afar and to the ViOL staff who meticulously prepared the symposium. He introduced the current status of Sylfirm X's melasma indication approval in MFDS and presented new products, Cellinew and DuoTite. Lee expressed confidence in ViOL's growth through this global symposium and emphasized that Korean beauty technology would gain further attention in the global market.

Four Sylfirm X masters delivered the symposium's core lectures based on their experiences and clinical results, demonstrating Sylfirm X's differentiation from other devices.

Dr. Hyun-gyeong Kim of MOUDA Clinic gave a presentation on the clinical use of Sylfirm X for hair loss treatment under the topic "New Therapeutic Approaches to Hair Loss: Introducing Innovative Strategies with Sylfirm X." She explained that Sylfirm X positively impacted hair thickness and scalp visibility, with clinical results showing an average 14.7% increase in hair count. Additionally, Dr. Kim introduced pain management methods during the treatment process, demonstrating microneedle RF technology's safe and effective application on the scalp.

Dr. Suneel Chilukuri from Refresh Dermatology in Houston, USA, gave a presentation titled "Not All Things Are Equal. " He discussed the latest approaches to skin regeneration, acne scar treatment, and pigmentation through RF microneedling technology. He emphasized that Sylfirm X's pulse wave technology minimizes thermal damage, making it safely applicable to various skin types while promoting skin regeneration by stimulating collagen production.

Lastly, Dr. Eunice Park, who operates three K-beauty-style clinics in New York, delivered a lecture titled "Skin Tightening across Diverse Skin Types: The AlREM Clinical K-Beauty Experience." Dr. Park explained the effectiveness of non-surgical treatments using Sylfirm X for various skin types, especially for patients with Fitzpatrick skin types 4 to 6, proposing ways to maintain youthful skin without surgery through consistent skincare. She also introduced methods combining RF microneedling with other technologies to treat pigmentation and melasma effectively.

After the lectures, a Q&A session followed, where attendees engaged in active discussions by asking various questions about Sylfirm X technology and treatment methods. Participants showed deep interest in the innovative technology and positively evaluated the practical information they gained about the latest beauty technologies. In particular, they responded positively to Sylfirm X's skin regeneration effects and safety during treatment.

This Sylfirm X MASTERCLASS was more than just a technical introduction; it showcased the fusion of Korean beauty technology, representing K-beauty, with global trends. Through this symposium, ViOL expanded its international network and contributed to promoting Korean beauty technology globally. Moving forward, ViOL plans to continue developing innovative products and technologies, further solidifying its position as a leader in K-beauty within the global beauty market.
